Visit the Hart Cluett Museum and Research Library to take advantage of extended hours every Thursday! The Museum and Library will be open 12-8pm for visitors to enjoy our galleries and community space.

Bring your friends to see our new exhibits, We the People… Voting and Democracy in Rensselaer County and Cornerstone of Community: The Founding of Rensselaer County Historical Society, enjoy a group study space with free wifi, or make an appointment to view our archives for research!

Every 3rd Thursday evening we host “Ask the Historian,” an opportunity to hear about Rensselaer County history from County and Troy City Historian (and Executive Director of the Museum), Kathy Sheehan!
