Education

The Hart Cluett Museum offers a variety of educational programs for all ages.

Schedule an experience that lets your students, scouts, or organization explore the history of Rensselaer County. Our programs feature tours of downtown Troy, tours of the historic Hart Cluett House, and hands-on lessons that bring history to life.

The Hart Cluett Museum’s educational programs are based on our extensive collection of primary source materials and historic artifacts. All programs are interactive and multidisciplinary. Our programs connect to the New York State Learning Standards for English language Arts & Literacy in Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects.

Can’t make it to the museum? Virtual and in-classroom programs are available!
