Fridays at 3pm: Tour the Historic Hart-Cluett House!

Take a trip back in time…

Tours explore the first floor and basement of the historic house. Visitors will learn about the Hart and Cluett families who called the Marble House home, life in Troy during the Gilded Age, and take a close look at this lavishly decorated house.

If you are using a Museum Pass from the Library, please register in advance using the link above. Select the option "Library Museum Pass" for your ticket.  You will not be charged for a ticket or any fees. You must present the Museum Pass when checking in for the tour.

 

Accessibility: 

The tour route in the Historic House through the first floor and basement is accessible. There are some uneven floors and narrow doorways. An elevator is available to take visitors between the first floor and basement.

The museum has a handicap access entry ramp and accessible restroom facilities. An elevator is available to reach the library and other areas of the museum. Due to the age of the facilities, not all areas are accessible.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online or in the museum's gift shop. Please call the Museum at 518-272-7232 x111 with questions or for assistance.

 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Check in with staff at the gift shop before your tour. Tours last for 1 hour.

Tours begin in the museum at 57 Second Street Troy, NY 12180.

Each ticket purchase includes a copy of The Marble House, a book about the history of the Hart-Cluett House.

 

Admission to the museum galleries is included in your tour ticket!
