Fashion Edition Institute
Three rising fashion professionals and their coaches from the Fashion Edition Institute came to Troy to learn about the history of the collar, cuff and shirt industry with Historian Kathy Sheehan.
Kathy discussed how the “Arrow Man” advertising campaign by Cluett, Peabody & Co. Inc. impacted the fashion world. This 6 month program enhances the fashion professional’s confidence, increases their presence on social media, assists in securing paying customers and collaborates on projects within a creative, supportive community.
The group included a fashion photographer, hair designer and dress designer. They also visited EKO Logic and the Center for Gravity.
On August 7th, these young professionals will present their work at a Fashion Showcase.
